Starting in 2022, I am working full-time on Rust. For this to be sustainable long term, I need to get a reasonable amount of money by doing this.
I am working on the core type system and am currently rewriting the trait solver. I care deeply about removing technical debt in rustc and want to improve both the maintainability and performance
of it. Rust will remain relevant over many years and any work we put into improving its foundation now will be incredibly valuable going forward.
